The Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA) is comprised of 38 independent schools, all members of CIS Ontario. The CISAA offers a broad and extensive school sport program for students in grades 4 to 12. In all, 25 sports, 165 leagues and over 1500 teams are involved throughout the school year.

School sport is a core educational program and an excellent vehicle to help develop character and life skills through practice and competition. These traits help develop engaged and concerned citizens who contribute to the betterment of an ever-changing society. The CISAA holds the values of integrity, respect, inclusion, sportsmanship, and education in high regard. Coaches, students, and those attending CISAA events are all expected to behave in a manner that supports the ideals of good character and exemplary conduct.

The CISAA is proud to be a member association of the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA), an associate member of both Football Ontario and Ontario Soccer. CISAA teams also participate in national invitational events offered to members of Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS).
